Kitchen applicance repair company GT Electrical has been named as the country´s second-top firm in terms of customer service.
The company, based in Queens Road, off Beverley Road, Hull, won the accolade through the 2009 Total Excellence & Quality (TEQ) Awards.
It is based on the feedback of 420,000 questionnaires sent by appliance plan specialist Domestic and General.
The company received its award at a ceremony at Devere Oulton Hall in Leeds on Thursday, October 1.
The family company was established by the father of the current owner, Nigel Bell, almost 40 years ago.
Mr Bell put the success of the company down to havig a team that care about what the firm does and keeping customers updated on their repairs.
