Firm is Second-To-One for Customer Service

Kitchen applicance repair company GT Electrical has been named as the country´s second-top firm in terms of customer service.
The company, based in Queens Road, off Beverley Road, Hull, won the accolade through the 2009 Total Excellence & Quality (TEQ) Awards.
It is based on the feedback of 420,000 questionnaires sent by appliance plan specialist Domestic and General.
The company received its award at a ceremony at Devere Oulton Hall in Leeds on Thursday, October 1.
The family company was established by the father of the current owner, Nigel Bell, almost 40 years ago.
Mr Bell put the success of the company down to havig a team that care about what the firm does and keeping customers updated on their repairs.

Work Starts on New Office

New office facilities are under construction, with the move planned back to where the office was many years ago.

"It'll put us closer to the shop and customer, and save all the running up and down the stairs!" said Laura.

Work is planned to be complete in time for 2010. "There's no rush to finish, it´s a case of fitting it into the work schedule", added Nigel.

A new answerphone service has been introduced for out-of-hours callers. You can now leave us a message anytime, and we'll endeavour to get back as soon as possible.

Shop opening hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, and Saturdays from 9:30am to 2pm. The shop is closed on Sundays.
