After 3.5m customer questionnaires over ten years G T Electrical gets special award for customer service.
Hull-based domestic appliance repairs company, G T Electrical, has had 4 good reasons for celebrating over the past 5 years. The family run firm has won 4 Total Quality and Excellence Awards (TEQ) for excellence in customer service since 2003.
Now Domestic & General, the specialist provider of breakdown protection for domestic appliances, electronic equipment and gas central heating systems, which established the TEQ Awards ten years ago, has given G T Electrical a special award to celebrate their consistency and achievement.
On receiving the award at a special presentation dinner at the De Vere Oulton Hall in Leeds on Wednesday 12 September, Proprietor Vivienne Bell commented,
"It's a great honour to receive this award and it means so much more knowing that it's our customers that have recognised our commitment to customer service. We always aim for complete customer satisfaction, no matter what the type of appliance or nature of the repair."
3.5 million customers surveyed
TEQ is celebrating ten years of promoting excellence in customer service, having been established by specialist appliance plan provider, Domestic & General, in 1998. It is the largest independent survey of repair standards on domestic appliances and has surveyed around 3.5 million customers in the UK on all aspects of repair performance. Criteria include how politely and efficiently the initial call requesting the repair was handled and how efficient, punctual and courteous the repair engineer was while in the customer's home. The TEQ Awards have been widely credited with driving improved service standards throughout the repair industry.
